Strength & Power is Here

Strength & Power testing is now live at DexaFit Scottsdale, and it is the fastest way to see how strong and explosive your body truly is—not just how it looks. Powered by Proteus Motion’s intelligent 3D resistance technology, this assessment turns your strength and power into clear, easy-to-use data that can immediately change how you train.

What is the Strength & Power Assessment?

Our Strength & Power Assessment uses the Proteus Motion system to test your full body in under 5 minutes across guided, real-world movement patterns. Unlike traditional weight-room tests, Proteus measures strength, power, and speed in three dimensions to show how you actually move, not just how much you can lift once.

You’ll complete 12 controlled movements on the Proteus platform, and the system automatically analyzes output, asymmetries, and efficiency across your entire body. Every test comes with a visual, easy-to-read report that breaks down your strengths, weak links, and specific training priorities.

Why Strength and Power Matter for Longevity

Strength and power are among the most important predictors of how well you move, function, and stay independent as you age. Research shows that muscle strength and power decline significantly with age, and this loss is closely linked to frailty, falls, and reduced quality of life. [5] The good news: resistance and power-focused training can slow these declines, improve bone density, and support long-term metabolic and cardiovascular health.

By quantifying your strength and power today, you can:

  • Catch early declines before they show up as injuries or major limitations.

  • Target specific patterns that matter for getting off the floor, carrying groceries, climbing stairs, and staying active without fear.

  • Build a training plan that protects bone density, preserves muscle, and maintains explosive power as you age.

Sport, Performance, and “Next-Level” Training Data

If you’re an athlete, lifter, or weekend warrior, Proteus gives you performance data the weight room alone can’t touch. The system provides constant resistance in any direction, allowing you to train and test rotational power, change-of-direction strength, and sport-specific patterns safely and efficiently.

With this assessment, you can:

  • Identify asymmetries and inefficiencies that quietly cap your speed, power, or durability. [4][2]

  • Get exercise recommendations tailored to your weakest links—by body region and by whether you need more strength or more speed work.

  • Track progress with repeat tests using objective, repeatable metrics to see if your current program is actually working.
